About this blog

Part-travelogue, part-poetry, this blog is an endeavor to collect my thoughts and share with you, the exalted beauty of the temples of Khajuraho.

I'm Adee, an advertising writer based in New Delhi, India. I with five of my office friends visited Khajuraho on the last Saturday of February, 2010. Finalized on a whim, almost as a retort to cynical colleagues who mocked our previous (fruitless) travel plans, it was our first visit to this renowned temple town. And I'm glad we made it.

As the person who first thought of this trip, and the office internet junkie, I took it upon myself to search as much information possible before commencing the journey. I searched blogosphere, facebook and twitter timelines, but sadly there was not much coming my way. As the trip was planned hurriedly, there was no time for a detailed search through other, offline mediums. Perhaps it was around this time, that the idea of this blog would have taken root.

This blog, thus attempts to be not only an expression of my feelings, but also as a source of inspiration, of helpful information and also as a meeting point of people who have traveled to or are planning to visit these magnificent works of art, a part of the shared heritage of this small world of ours.

Hope you'll enjoy your journey through these pages...
